Itinerary

Day 1: Paro - Thimphu

Upon arrival at Paro airport, you will be greeted by your driver and transferred to your hotel in Thimphu. After check-in, your Bhutanese adventure begins with a visit to Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan's oldest temples. Explore Rinpung Dzong and Ta Dzong, the national museum of Bhutan. Overnight in Thimphu.

Day 2: Thimphu

After breakfast, embark on a full day of sightseeing in Thimphu. Visit the National Memorial Chorten, Changangkha Lhakhang, and Zorig Chusum, the traditional painting school of Bhutan. Explore the Folk Heritage Museum, Tashichhoe Dzong, and its impressive structures. Overnight in Thimphu.

Day 3: Thimphu - Punakaha

Drive to Punakha after breakfast and check in at your hotel. Visit Chimi Lhakhang, the renowned fertility temple, and explore Punakha Dzong, strategically located at the confluence of Phochu and Mochu rivers. Overnight in Punakha.

Day 4: Punkaha - Bumthang

Day 5: Bumthang

Day 6: Bumthang - Gangtey

After breakfast, visit the Yathra Weaving Centre before heading to Gangtey. Explore Gangtey Gompa and visit the Black-Necked Crane Information Center to learn about the majestic cranes and the valley's natural beauty. Overnight in Gangtey.

Day 7: Gangtey - Paro

Drive back to Paro and check in at your hotel. Visit Semtokha Dzong, one of the oldest fortresses built in 1629. Explore Dungtse Lhakhang, a unique temple designed as a 'mandala.' Overnight in Paro.

Day 8: Paro

After breakfast, embark on a hike to the iconic Tiger's Nest Monastery (Taktsang), perched on a cliff. Visit Drugyel Dzong, a historic fortress built to commemorate a Bhutanese victory. Enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Jumolhari. Overnight in Paro.

Day 9: Paro - Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Paro airport for your onward flight, concluding your memorable journey through Bhutan.
