Day 1: Kolkata
Upon your arrival at Kolkata airport, our team will provide assistance and transfer you to your hotel (hotel check-in/out time is 12 pm). The remainder of the day is free for you to relax and engage in personal activities. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2: Kolkata
After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a full-day city tour of Kolkata. Explore the historic Fort William, admire the grandeur of the Victoria Memorial, visit Netaji Bhawan, and marvel at the iconic Howrah Bridge. Your journey also takes you to the Dakshineswar Kali Temple and other prominent landmarks of this culturally rich city. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Kolkata - Deoghar (Train No. 12023, JANSHATABDI EXP, HWH 1405hr / JSME 1817hr)
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, you have free time. In the afternoon, you'll be transferred to Howrah railway station to board the Janshatabdi Express train to Deoghar (Jasidih Junction). Upon arrival, meet your driver and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for relaxation. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4: Deoghar - Bodhgaya (268kms)
Start your day with breakfast at the hotel. Visit Baba Baidyanath Dham, a revered jyotirlinga temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, and also a shaktipeeth (devotional shrine). Afterward, proceed to Bodhgaya, making stops at Nalanda, a renowned center of knowledge and learning established in the 5th century, and the Vishwa Shanti Stupa, a stunning marble monument situated atop a 400m high hill in Rajgir. Upon arriving in Bodhgaya, check in at your hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5: Bodhgaya - Varanasi (250kms)
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Begin your day by visiting the Mahabodhi Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, along with the Bodhi Tree, Vajrasana, and the Tibetan Monastery. Explore other temples and monasteries, including the Burmese Temple, Chinese Temple and Monastery, Buddhist Monastery of Bhutan, Thai Temple and Monastery, and more. Later, drive to Varanasi and check in at your hotel. In the evening, attend the mesmerizing Holy Ganga Aarti, a magical ritual held on the banks of the sacred Ganges during sunset. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6: Varanasi
After breakfast at the hotel, embark on an early morning boat ride and visit the Ghats of Varanasi. Later, explore the Banaras Hindu University, Bharat Mata Temple, Tulsi Manas Temple, and the Sarnath Temple complex, which includes the Great Dhamekh Stupa. If time allows, visit the Ram Nagar Fort and Museum. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 7: Varanasi - Departure
Have breakfast at the hotel. As per your flight schedule, we will transfer you to the airport for your onward journey to Kolkata, Delhi, or Mumbai, concluding this culturally enriching tour.
