Rumi Darwaza: Your tour continues to the Rumi Darwaza, a sixty-foot-tall imposing gateway. This architectural masterpiece was constructed under the patronage of Nawab Asaf-Ud-daula in 1784. It is a splendid example of Awadhi architecture and was modeled after the Sublime Porte in Istanbul. Originally, it marked the entrance to Old Lucknow City, but as the city expanded, it became an entrance to a palace that was later demolished by British insurgents.

Hazratganj: In the afternoon, you'll have free time to explore Hazratganj, the downtown area situated in the heart of Lucknow. This bustling district is not only known for its bazaars but also houses shopping complexes, restaurants, hotels, theaters, and offices.
