Aurangabad and explore the archaeological monuments and caves of Ajanta & Ellora two unique UNESCO WHS dating from 2nd century BC to and 11th centuries AD. Next drive to Nashik, a spiritual city with Jyotirlinga temple and wine-yard. Next head to visit 182 meters high world tallest Statue of Unity in the backdrop of Sardar Sarovar Dam. Continue to visit the UNESCO World Heritage archaeological site of Pavagadh-Champaner. The tour will end in Vadodara with a visit to grand palaces & museums.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Aurangabad

Excursion to visit Ellora Caves, 34 monasteries and temples date back from 600 to 1000 AD. Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga Temple & Daulatabad Fort. Also visit Bibi ka Maqbara, Panchakki & Aurangabad Caves. O/n at hotel.

Day 2: Aurangabad - Ajanta (210kms round)

Breakfast at hotel. Full day excursion to Ajanta which house 30 rock-cut cave from the 2nd century BCE to about 480 CE. Buddhist Caves with mesmerizing sculptures and paintings depict Buddhas life as well the lives of the Buddha in his previous births. Drive back to Aurangabad.O/n at hotel.

Day 3: Aurangabad - Nashik (170kms)

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Nashik via visiting Shirdi Sai Baba Temple. Arrive Nashik check in at hotel. Later visit Panchavati temple complex, Ram Kund, Kalaram Temple & Sita Gufaa. O/n at hotel.

Day 4: Nashik - Kevadia (350kms)

Breakfast at hotel. Excursion to visit Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, Brahmagiri Fort & Gangadwar. Later drive to Kevadia, check in at hotel. Lunch, dinner & o/n at tent city/ hotel.

Day 5: Kevadia

Breakfast at hotel. Visit Statue of Unity worlds tallest statue (height 182 metres). The high-speed elevators will take you to a height of about 400 feet through the core of the statue where you can get panoramic view of the surroundings. Later visit Sardar Sarovar Dam, Selfie Point & Valley of Flowers. Evening attend Light and Sound show at Statue of Unity (Monday Closed). Lunch, dinner &a o/n at tent city/ hotel.

Day 6: Kevadia - Vadodara (150kms)

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Vadodara via visiting UNESCO World Heritage Site of Pavagadh-Champaner. The site encompasses forts, temples, mosques, mausoleum complexes, pavilions, wells and tanks built around 1523 in Indo-Saracenic architecture.
Continue drive to Vadodara and check in at hotel. Rest time free to relax. O/n at hotel.

Day 7: Vadodara - Departure

Breakfast at hotel. City tour of Vadodara. Visit Lakshmi Vilas Palace, Maharaja Fateh Singh Museum & Kirti Mandir. Later transfer to airport to board flight for onward destination.
