Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Aurangabad

Upon your arrival in Aurangabad, you'll begin your journey with a fascinating excursion. You'll visit the remarkable Ellora Caves, a complex of 34 monasteries and temples dating back from 600 to 1000 AD. Marvel at the Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, a sacred place of worship. Your explorations continue at the historic Daulatabad Fort, Bibi ka Maqbara, Panchakki, and Aurangabad Caves. You'll spend the night at your comfortable hotel in Aurangabad.

Day 2: Aurangabad - Ajanta (210kms round)

After breakfast at your hotel, embark on a full-day excursion to the awe-inspiring Ajanta Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. These caves, dating from the 2nd century BCE to about 480 CE, are renowned for their Buddhist rock-cut caves adorned with mesmerizing sculptures and paintings depicting the life of Buddha and his previous incarnations. Return to Aurangabad for a relaxing overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 3: Aurangabad - Nashik (170kms)

Following breakfast, you'll drive to Nashik, a city known for its religious significance and historical sites. En route, you'll visit the revered Shirdi Sai Baba Temple, a spiritual haven for devotees. Upon arrival in Nashik, you'll check in at your hotel. Later in the day, explore the Panchavati temple complex, Ram Kund, Kalaram Temple, and Sita Gufaa, all of which hold cultural and religious importance. Spend the night at your Nashik hotel.

Day 4: Nashik - Kevadia (350kms)

After breakfast, embark on an excursion to the Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, one of the twelve sacred Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Your journey continues with a visit to the historic Brahmagiri Fort and Gangadwar. Later, drive to Kevadia, where you'll check in at your hotel or tent city. Enjoy lunch and dinner at your accommodation.

Day 5: Kevadia

Start your day with breakfast and a visit to the awe-inspiring Statue of Unity, the world's tallest statue, standing at a staggering height of 182 meters. Take a high-speed elevator ride to the statue's core, providing panoramic views of the surroundings. Next, explore the Sardar Sarovar Dam, Selfie Point, and the enchanting Valley of Flowers. In the evening, attend the captivating Light and Sound show at the Statue of Unity (Note: Closed on Mondays). Your day ends with dinner and a comfortable overnight stay at the tent city or hotel.

Day 6: Kevadia - Vadodara (150kms)

After breakfast, depart for Vadodara, your next destination. Along the way, visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Pavagadh-Champaner. This site boasts an array of historical wonders, including forts, temples, mosques, mausoleum complexes, pavilions, wells, and tanks, all showcasing Indo-Saracenic architecture. Upon arrival in Vadodara, check in at your hotel. The remainder of the day is free for relaxation. You'll spend the night at your Vadodara hotel.

Day 7: Vadodara - Departure

Your final day begins with breakfast at your Vadodara hotel. Explore the city with visits to the magnificent Lakshmi Vilas Palace, the Maharaja Fateh Singh Museum, and Kirti Mandir. Later, you'll be transferred to the airport for your onward flight, marking the end of your cultural journey from Aurangabad to Vadodara.
