Your journey begins with a pick-up from your Cochin hotel or the Cochin airport. From there, we'll drive to Thekkady, where you'll check in at your hotel. In the evening, you'll have the opportunity to visit the Kadathanadan Kalari Centre, known as "The House of Martial Arts." This center is renowned for the ancient Kerala art of Kalaripayattu, a martial art form that's not only fascinating to watch but also designed for self-defense. Afterward, return to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.
Following breakfast at the hotel, it's time to explore the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary on a boat. This sanctuary is home to a diverse array of wildlife, including tigers, elephants, the rare lion-tailed macaques, sambar deer, leopards, and Indian bison. You'll embark on a thrilling boat ride through the sanctuary's picturesque waterways, keeping an eye out for these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. Later in the day, you'll have the opportunity to delve into the world of spices with a guided spice plantation tour. After a delightful breakfast onboard, it's time to disembark from the houseboat. We'll then drive back to Cochin, where you'll be dropped off at your hotel or the Cochin airport.
