Itinerary

Day 1: Bangalore - Hampi (350kms)

Pick up from your Bangalore hotel and drive to Hampi. Enroute, visit Chitradurg Fort, which has a rich history and houses temples, a masjid, and a citadel. Explore the ancient Hidimbeshwar Temple carved out of rock, showcasing Dravidian influence. Continue to Hampi and check in at the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Hampi.

Day 2: Hampi

After breakfast, embark on a city tour of Hampi, an UNESCO World Heritage site known for its ruined temple complexes from the Vijayanagara Empire. Explore the majestic ruins of Hazara Rama Temple, Kings Balance, Mahanavami Dibba, Royal Enclosures, Statue of Ugra Narasimha Temple, Virupaksha Temple, Vithala Temple Complex, Lotus Mahal, and ASI Museum. Overnight in Hampi.

Day 3: Hampi - Badami (190kms)

Enjoy breakfast and drive to Badami. Enroute, visit Lakkundi, famous for ancient temples and step wells, and Gadag, known for its historical Hindu and Jain temples. Explore the Trikuteshewara Temple in Gadag. Arrive in Badami, check in at the hotel, and overnight stay.

Day 4: Badami

After breakfast, embark on an excursion to Aihole, home to over 125 Chalukyan temples and monuments from the 6th to 12th century. Visit important sites like Durga Temple, Lad Khan Temple, Ravanaphadi Cave Temples, and more. Continue to Pattadakal, known for its Hindu and Jain temples dating back to the 7th and 8th century CE. Explore temples like Virupaksha Temple, Jain Temple, and others. Also, visit the Badami Caves, Badami Fort, and Agastya Lake. Overnight in Badami.

Day 5: Badami - Hubli (110kms)

After breakfast, transfer to Hubli airport for your onward flight to Bangalore, Goa, or Mumbai.
