Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Colombo

On arrival at Colombo airport assistance & transfer to hotel (check in/out time 12pm). In the afternoon Colombo city tour, visit to Pettah, Beira lake and Galle face. O/n at hotel.

Day 2: Colombo - Sigiriya (190kms)

After breakfast drive to Sigiriya. On the way visit the Pinnawala elephant orphanage to see the largest gathering of tamed elephants in the world. On arrival check-in at the hotel.
In the afternoon climb Sigiriya rock fortress. This iconic tourist attraction is a UNESCO world heritage site and one of the oldest landscaped gardens in the world. O/n at hotel.

Day 3: Sigiriya - Kandy (90kms)

After breakfast leave for Kandy, en-route visit spice garden in Matale. Later visit Temple of the tooth relic, a UNESCO world heritage site. Also visit Kandy view point, Kandy Lake, Kandyan cultural show, Gem museum and lapidary. O/n at hotel.

Day 4: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya (100kms)

After breakfast drive to Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka hill country. You will board the hill country train and experience one of the most scenic train journeys in the world. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Later visit botanical garden and Nuwara Eliya city tour. O/n at hotel.

Day 5: Nuwara Eliya – Yala (165kms)

After breakfast drive to Yala, en-route visit Ravana waterfall. On arrival check-in at the hotel and leisure. In the afternoon wildlife safari at Yala National Park. O/n at hotel.

Day 6: Yala – South Beach (150kms)

After breakfast leave for the beach hotel in South coast. En-route walking tour of Galle fort and visit to the sea turtle conservation project. Later boat tour at Ramsar wetland of Madu. Rest time to relax in the beach resort. O/n at hotel.

Day 7: South Beach – Bentota (80kms)

Early morning leave for a whale watching tour of Mirissa. After the whale watching tour a boat tour of turtle beach and watching stilt fishermen in Unawatuna. Later drive to Bentota check in at beach resort and rest time free for personal activities and elax on the beach. O/n at hotel.

Day 8: Bentota - Colombo Airport (100kms)

As per flight schedule transfer to airport to board flight for onward destination.
