Spiritual Tour of Jyotirlinga Temples and Buddhist Monasteries eight days private tour will begin with pick up from IGI airport in Delhi. Explore the Mughal monuments & fly to Pyayagraj. Visit Sangam, the ground for largest human gathering in world. Then drive to Varanasi, one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world, with settlements dating back to the 11th century BC. Further drive to Bodhgaya visit Mahabodhi Temple and then drives to Deoghar to visit Another Jyotirlinga Temple. The tour will end with your drop off to airport in Patna.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Delhi

On arrival at Delhi airport assistance & transfer to hotel (hotel check in/ out time 12pm). Later visit Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, Raj Gath, Humayun Tomb, Qutab Minar & Lotus Temple.O/n at hotel.

Day 2: Delhi - Prayagraj (Allahabad) (flight)

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to airport to board flight for Prayagraj. On arrival transfer to hotel. Later visit Anand Bhawan Museum the ancestral home of Jawaharlal Nehru, the freedom fighter and the first Prime-Minister of India. O/n at hotel.

Day 3: Prayagraj - Varanasi (120kms)

Breakfast at hotel. Visit Sangam the confluence of river Ganges, Yamuna & mythical Saraswati. And Allahabad Fort near the confluence. Later drive to Varanasi check in at hotel. Evening attend Holy Ganga Aarti, a magical ritual held every evening at sunset on the banks of the holy Ganges. O/n at hotel.

Day 4: Varanasi

Breakfast at hotel. Early morning boat ride & Ghat visit. Later visit Banaras Hindu University, Bharat Mata Temple, Tulsi Manas Temple & Sarnath Temple complex including the Great Dhamekh Stupa. If time permit visit Ram Nagar Fort & Museum. O/n at hotel.

Day 5: Varanasi - Bodhgaya (250kms)

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Bodhgaya check in at hotel. Later visit Mahabodhi Temple, Bodhi Tree, Vajrasana & Tibetan Monastery. Also see the Burmese Temple, Chinese Temple and Monastery, Buddhist Monastery of Bhutan, Thai Temple and Monastery. Excursion to Gaya visit 18th-century Vishnupad Temple & Mangla Gauri Temple. O/n at hotel.

Day 6: Bodhgaya - Deoghar (235kms)

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Deoghar check in at hotel. Later visit Baba Baidyanath Dham (a jyotirlinga temple dedicated to Lord Shiva) and a shaktipeeth (devotional shrines). O/n at hotel. Meal plan: B.

Day 7: Deoghar - Patna (265kms)/ flight to Delhi

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Patna via visiting Rajgir Vishwa Shanti Stupa built of marble on a 400m high hill. And Nalanda a hot seat of knowledge and learning established in the 5th century. Arrive Patna check in at hotel. O/n at hotel.

Day 8: Delhi - Departure

Breakfast at hotel. As per flight schedule Departure transfer to airport.
