Day 1: Arrive Kolkata
Upon arrival at Kolkata Airport, you'll be assisted and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure for personal activities. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Kolkata
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day city tour of Kolkata, including visits to Fort William, Victoria Memorial, Netaji Bhawan, Howrah Bridge, Dakshineswar Kali Temple, and other iconic landmarks. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Kolkata - Similipal Tiger Reserve (300kms)
Drive to Similipal Tiger Reserve after breakfast and check in at the hotel. Rest of the day is free for relaxation. Lunch and dinner will be provided at the hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 4: Similipal Tiger Reserve
After breakfast, embark on a thrilling jeep safari in Similipal Tiger Reserve. This sanctuary is home to a variety of wildlife, including tigers, leopards, sloth bears, elephants, and more. Similipal is also known for the unique melanistic tigers. Lunch and dinner will be provided at the hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 5: Similipal NP - Bhitarakanika NP (200kms)
After breakfast, drive to Bhitarakanika and check in at a jungle cottage or tent. Enjoy personal activities and explore the area. Lunch and dinner will be provided at the accommodation. Overnight stay.
Day 6: Bhitarakanika NP - Puri (225kms)
After breakfast, explore Bhitarkanika, known for its Olive Ridley turtle breeding ground. Enjoy a boat safari through the mangrove forest, watch migratory birds, and keep an eye out for estuarine crocodiles. Visit the Bagagahan Bird Sanctuary and climb the watchtower for birdwatching. Later, drive to Puri and check in at the hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 7: Puri
After breakfast, embark on an excursion to Chilika Lake, the second largest brackish water lagoon in the world. Enjoy a boat ride amidst migratory birds. Visit the Konark Sun Temple, a 13th-century architectural marvel. Return to Puri, relax on the beach, and spend the night at the hotel.
Day 8: Puri - Bhubaneshwar (65kms)
After breakfast, drive to Bhubaneshwar. En route, visit Khandgiri and Udayagiri Jain caves, as well as Dhauli Rock Edicts. In Bhubaneshwar, visit famous temples like Parasurameshwar, Mukteshwar, Rajarani, and Lingaraj (please note non-Hindus are not allowed inside the main temple sanctum). Later, you'll be dropped off at Bhubaneshwar Airport for your onward flight.
