Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Delhi

Arrival at Delhi airport, transfer to hotel. Visit Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, Khari Baoli Spice Market, Raj Gath, Humayun Tomb, Qutab Minar, and Lotus Temple. Also, drive past President House, Parliament, and India Gate. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Delhi - Gwalior (0600/ 0925hrs, Satabdi Train) / Gwalior - Orchha (125kms)

Transfer to the railway station, board the train to Gwalior. Visit Gwalior Fort. After sightseeing, drive to Orchha. Visit Orchha Fort complex and cenotaphs. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Orchha - Jhansi (12kms)/ Jhansi - Bhopal (1045/ 1355hrs, Satabdi Train)

Transfer to Jhansi railway station, board the train to Bhopal. On arrival in Bhopal, visit Jama Masjid, Moti Masjid, Taj ul Masjid, and take an evening boat ride in Upper Lake. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Bhopal

Excursion to Bhimbetka rock shelters, an archaeological site, and Bhojpur Shiva Temple. Return to Bhopal. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Bhopal

Visit Bhoj Wetland, a Ramsar site, in the morning. Then, explore Sanchi Buddhist stupas, monasteries, temples, and Udayagiri Caves. Return to Bhopal. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Bhopal - Agra (1515/ 2111hrs Satabdi Train)

Visit Bhoj Wetland in the morning. Transfer to the railway station, board the train to Agra. On arrival, visit Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and Itmad-ud-Daula Tomb. Evening train to Delhi. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Agra - Delhi (Satabdi Train)

Sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal, followed by breakfast at the hotel. Later, visit Agra Fort and Itmad-ud-Daula Tomb. Evening train to Delhi. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8: Delhi - Departure

Transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
