This ceremony takes place every evening, just before sunset, where Indian and Pakistani soldiers come together for a 30-minute display of military camaraderie and showmanship. This iconic temple is renowned for its shimmering golden dome. Within the temple complex, you can explore the central Sikh Museum located atop the Clock Tower. Don't miss the experience of Guru Ka Langar, where free meals are offered to around 20,000 people daily, and the number can soar to 100,000 on special occasions. Continue to the Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum, famous for its rare and priceless collections, including paintings, weapons, armors, manuscripts, and coins. You'll also explore Gobindgarh Fort, originally built in the 18th century but significantly enhanced by Maharaja Ranjit Singh in the early 19th century. The fort was renamed after the 10th Sikh guru, Guru Gobind Singh. It houses historical cannons, including the famous Zamzama cannons. Conclude your Amritsar tour with a delightful rickshaw ride and a walking tour through the old market streets.
