These shrines were developed over a period from the 2nd century BC to the 5th century AD.

Bhaja Caves:
Next, you'll visit the Bhaja Caves, another group of rock-cut caves dating back to the 2nd century BC, located near Karla Caves.
These caves are situated 400 feet above the village of Bhaja and belong to the Hinayana Buddhism sect.

Lohagad (Iron Fort):
Your tour continues to Lohagad, one of the many historic hill forts of Maharashtra.
