Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Dibrugarh

Upon arrival at Dibrugarh airport, you will be greeted by our team and transferred to your hotel. Later, embark on a cultural exploration of the region, visiting Jokai Botanical Garden, Shrikshetra Dhaam, Lord Jagannath Temple, Koli Aai Thaan, Dehing Satra ruins, and the Buddhist Monastery at Namphake Village. Enjoy your overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Dibrugarh - Mon (120kms)

After breakfast, drive to Shangnyu village, known for its wooden monument believed to be constructed by heavenly angels. Explore the village and see the memorial stone in front of the Angh's house. Continue your journey to Chui village. Enjoy a traditional lunch and dinner at a homestay in Mon.

Day 3: Mon - Mokokchung (155kms)

Drive to Mokokchung, the headquarters of the Ao Nagas. The Ao Nagas are known for their colorful attire and unique shawls that signify a person's status in the community. Visit Longkhum and Mopunchket Ao village. Experience the local culture during your stay at a homestay.

Day 4: Mokokchung - Tuophema (115Kms)

Drive to Touphema village and embark on a walk to the nearby Angami village. Explore old and New Touphema village, including its village museum. Enjoy local cuisine during your stay at a homestay.

Day 5: Tuophema

After breakfast, take a 3-hour soft trekking trail to the neighboring Rengma village through the forest. Have lunch in the village and explore the area. Return to Touphema village for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Tuophema - Kohima (35kms)

Drive to Kohima and check in at your hotel. Visit the State Museum, II World War Memorial, local market, and Kisama Heritage Village. Experience local hospitality with lunch and dinner at a homestay.

Day 7: Kohima - Khonoma (20kms)

Drive to Khonoma village, known for its artisans and craftsmen. Spend the day interacting with villagers and immersing yourself in their culture. Enjoy your meals at the homestay.

Day 8: Khonoma

Explore the surroundings and embark on a soft trekking route to the Tragopan bird sanctuary. Enjoy a picnic lunch cooked over an open fire and return to the village by early evening. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 9: Khonoma - Imphal (150kms)

After breakfast, drive to Imphal and check in at your hotel. Explore Imphal's landmarks, including Kangla Fort Palace, the centuries-old Polo Ground, Manipur State Museum, Royal Palace, Shri Govindaji Temple, Khwairamband Bazaar, and the War Cemeteries. Enjoy your meals at the hotel.

Day 10 Imphal

Embark on an excursion to Keibul Lamjao National Park, the only floating park in the world, as well as Moirang, the ancient capital of the Manipuri Kings, and Loktak and Sendra Island. Return to Imphal for lunch, dinner, and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 11: Imphal - Departure

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Imphal airport for your onward departure, marking the end of your enchanting journey through Northeast India.
