Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Trichy

Arrival at Trichy airport, transfer to the hotel. Explore the ancient Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple and the remarkable Rock Fort, one of the world's oldest rocks at 230 crore years old. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Trichy - Madurai (140kms)

After breakfast, drive to Madurai. Check in at the hotel and visit the renowned Meenakshi Temple, Thirumalai Nayakar Palace, Alagar Koil, Tiruparankundram Murugan Temple, and Palamuthirsolai Murugan Temple. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Madurai - Rameshwaram (170kms)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and head to Rameshwaram. Visit the Ramanathaswamy Temple, famous for its 12 Jyotirlingas and the world's longest corridor with immaculate pillar carvings. Explore Adams Bridge, a chain of reefs and islets almost connecting Sri Lanka and India. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Rameshwaram - Thanjavur (250kms)

After breakfast, drive to Thanjavur. Enroute, admire 19th-century mansions with marble and teak embellishments. Check in at the hotel in Thanjavur and spend the night.

Day 5: Thanjavur - Trichy (60kms)

After breakfast, visit the magnificent Brihadeshwara Temple and Fort, built by the great Chola king in the 10th century. Explore Thanjavur Palace & Museum, which houses an art gallery, library, and music hall. Later, drive to Trichy and drop off at the airport for your onward journey. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.
