Itinerary

Day 1: Ahmedabad - Dholavira (385kms)

Your journey commences with a scenic drive to Dholavira, enriched by cultural heritage. En route, you'll visit the Modhera Sun Temple, a splendid Hindu temple devoted to the solar deity Surya, constructed between 1026-27 CE during the reign of Bhima I from the Chaulukya dynasty. Delve into the marvels of the Rani ki Vav, an 11th-century Solanki-era stepwell built by a queen in loving memory of her husband. Your cultural odyssey continues with a visit to the Panchasara Jain Temple, crafted by King Vanraj Chavada around VS 802. Upon arriving in Dholavira, check in at your hotel. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the resort.

Day 2: Dholavira - Dasada (255kms)

After breakfast at your hotel, embark on a captivating exploration of Dholavira's archaeological and historical sites, transporting you 4500 years back in time to the Indus Valley Civilization. Unearth historic treasures, including seals adorned with animal figures, funerary structures, ancient letters of the Indus script, exquisite stone sculptures, pottery adorned with painted motifs, terracotta ornaments, and intriguing signboards. Don't miss the well-preserved ancient water reservoirs that offer a glimpse into the past. Later, journey to Dasada and check in at your hotel. Day 3: Dasada - Rajkot (160kms)

Breakfast at your hotel precedes an early morning safari in the exceptional landscape of the Little Rann of Kutch, a realm unlike any other on Earth, rich with possibilities for exploration. This saline desert, believed to have once been a shallow sea, serves as the exclusive sanctuary for the endemic Asiatic Wild Ass. It also lures bird enthusiasts with its charismatic avian inhabitants and bears the distinction of being a Ramsar Site. After the safari and some sightseeing, your journey takes you to Rajkot, where you'll check in at your hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4: Rajkot - Departure

Following breakfast at the hotel, embark on a cultural tour of Rajkot. Visit the Jubilee Garden, home to colonial-era monuments, including MG High School, Kaba Gandhi No Delo, Rashtriya Shala, Watson Museum, Lang Library, and Rotary Midtown Library. These landmarks reflect the city's historical significance. Later, you will be transferred to Rajkot airport to catch your flight to your next destination, marking the conclusion of your enriching journey through Gujarat's cultural and natural wonders.
