Vellore and Pondicherry Via Kanchipuram and Mahabalipuram Private City Break will begin with arrival transfer from airport to hotel in Chennai. Explore the colonial city dotted with many British build structure then proceed to Kanchipuram a temple town having more than 1000 centuries old temples then to Vellore famous for fort & golden temple. After spending night in Pondicherry and exploring the French settlement & Aurovil drive to Mahabalipuram to visit some unique UNESCO WHS. At the end we will drop you off at Chennai airport.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Chennai

On arrival at Chennai airport assistance & transfer to hotel. Later visit Fort St. George, St Mary's Church inside the fortress, Kapaleeshwarar Temple, Vadapalani Murugan Temple, Government Museum, Dakshinachitra Museum, Santhome Cathedral & Marina Beach. O/n at hotel.

Day 2: Chennai - Pondicherry (295kms)

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Pondicherry via visiting Kanchipuram and Vellore. In Kanchipuram visit Kailasanathar temple, Ekambareswarar temple, Varadharaja temple, Vaikundhaperumal temple & Kamakshiamman temple. In Vellore visit Sri Lakshmi Narayani Golden Temple gilded with 1500kg of pure gold, Vellore Fort & Jalakandeswarar Temple inside the fort. Continue drive to Pondicherry and check in at hotel. O/n at hotel.

Day 3: Pondicherry - Mahabalipuram - Chennai (160kms)

Breakfast at hotel. Visit Aurovil & Pondicherry Museum. Drive pass or walk through stunning French Quarters, charming mustard streets and colonial villas which include French consulate, Raj Nivas, Government Square, Churches & French schools. Later drive to Chennai enroute stop at Mahabalipuram to visit Monolithic Temples, Five Rathas, Krishna Butterball, Cave Temples, Shore Temple & The Arjuna Penance. Continue drive to Chennai and drop off to airport.
