Day 1: Arrive Colombo
Upon arrival at Colombo airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel (check-in/out time at 12 pm). In the afternoon, you'll explore Colombo, visiting Pettah, Beira Lake, and the Galle Face. You'll spend the night at your hotel.
Day 2: Colombo - Sigiriya (190kms)
After breakfast, you'll embark on a drive to Sigiriya. Along the way, you'll visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, known for the largest gathering of tamed elephants globally. Upon reaching Sigiriya, you'll check in at your hotel. Later in the afternoon, you'll climb the iconic Sigiriya rock fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage site. You'll stay overnight at your hotel in Sigiriya.
Day 3: Sigiriya - Kandy (90kms)
Following breakfast, your journey continues to Kandy. En route, you'll explore a spice garden in Matale. In Kandy, you'll visit the revered Temple of the Tooth Relic, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Your Kandy exploration will also include a visit to a viewpoint, Kandy Lake, a captivating Kandyan cultural show, Gem museum, and lapidary. You'll spend the night at your hotel.
Day 4: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya (100kms)
After breakfast, you'll drive to Nuwara Eliya in the Sri Lankan hill country. You'll board a scenic hill country train, experiencing one of the world's most picturesque train journeys. Upon arrival, you'll check in at your hotel and later explore the botanical garden and Nuwara Eliya city. You'll stay overnight at your hotel.
Day 5: Nuwara Eliya – Yala (165kms)
Following breakfast, you'll depart for Yala. Along the way, you'll visit the Ravana waterfall. After reaching Yala, you'll check in at your hotel and have leisure time. In the afternoon, you'll embark on an exciting wildlife safari at Yala National Park. You'll spend the night at your hotel.
Day 6: Yala – South Beach (150kms)
After breakfast, you'll head to the beachfront hotel on the South Coast. En route, you'll enjoy a walking tour of Galle fort and visit a sea turtle conservation project. Later, you'll experience a boat tour at the Ramsar wetland of Madu. The rest of the day is free for you to relax at the beach resort. You'll stay overnight at your hotel.
Day 7: South Beach – Bentota (80kms)
Early in the morning, you'll embark on an exciting whale-watching tour in Mirissa. After the tour, you'll take a boat tour to turtle beach and witness the unique stilt fishermen in Unawatuna. Later, you'll drive to Bentota, where you'll check in at a beach resort. The remaining time is yours to enjoy personal activities and relax on the beach. You'll spend the night at your hotel.
Day 8: Bentota - Colombo Airport (100kms)
As per your flight schedule, you'll be transferred to the airport to board your onward flight, concluding your memorable journey.
