Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Madurai

Upon your arrival at Madurai airport, you will be greeted by our representative who will assist you in transferring to your hotel for check-in. After settling in, embark on a sightseeing tour of Madurai. Your visit will include stops at the renowned Meenakshi Temple, the majestic Thirumalai Nayakar Palace, the serene Alagar Koil, Tiruparankundram Murugan Temple, and the Palamuthirsolai Murugan Temple. After a day of exploration, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Madurai - Rameshwaram (170kms)

Following breakfast at your hotel, set out to explore Rameshwaram, located approximately 170 kilometers from Madurai. Visit the sacred Ramanathaswamy Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlinga temples, known for its intricate architecture and religious significance. You'll also have the opportunity to see Adams Bridge, a unique geographical formation. After a fulfilling day in Rameshwaram, return to your hotel in the town for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Rameshwaram - Chettinad - Thanjavur (250kms)

Enjoy a hearty breakfast at your hotel before continuing your journey. Drive to Thanjavur, but first, make a detour to Chettinad, famous for its distinctive mansions with intricate architecture. Explore the rich cultural heritage of this region before resuming your journey to Thanjavur. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and unwind for the night.

Day 4: Thanjavur - Trichy (60kms)

Start your day with a delicious breakfast at your hotel, followed by a visit to the Brihadeshwara Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most significant temples in India. Explore the Thanjavur Palace and Museum, gaining insights into the region's history and art. Later, drive to Trichy, where you'll check in at your hotel. Visit the revered Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple and the iconic Rock Fort, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. After a day filled with exploration, return to your hotel in Trichy for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Trichy - Departure

Relish your final breakfast in South India, and then, depending on your onward travel arrangements, you will be transferred to either Trichy or Madurai airport. This marks the end of your enriching journey through these culturally and historically significant cities in Tamil Nadu.
