Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Kolkata

Upon your arrival at Kolkata Airport, our team will provide assistance and transfer you to your hotel (please note that standard hotel check-in time is 12 pm). You have the rest of the day free for personal activities and relaxation. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Kolkata

After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a tour of Kolkata's iconic landmarks. Visit the historic Fort William, explore the grandeur of the Victoria Memorial, pay homage at Netaji Bhawan, and marvel at the architectural marvel of the Howrah Bridge. Your day also includes a visit to the Dakshineswar Kali Temple. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Kolkata - Balasore (250kms)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and then drive to Balasore. Check in at your hotel and later visit the Khirachora Gopinatha Temple, Jagannatha Temple, and Bhusandeswara Temple, each a testament to the region's rich religious heritage. Explore Chandipur-on-sea, a seaside resort known for its expansive mile-long beach. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Balasore - Bhitarkanika (165kms)

After breakfast, drive to Bhitarkanika and check in at your hotel. The day is at leisure for you to relax and explore the serene surroundings. Enjoy lunch, dinner, and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5: Bhitarkanika

Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel. Explore Bhitarkanika, renowned as the breeding ground for Olive Ridley turtles. Embark on a boat safari through the mangrove forest, navigate the winding creeks, and keep your eyes peeled for a variety of birds, especially the vibrant Kingfishers. Don't miss the chance to spot estuarine crocodiles basking in the sun. Visit the Bagagahan Bird Sanctuary and climb the watchtower to spot Pelicans and various Stork species. Enjoy lunch, dinner, and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6: Bhitarkanika - Bhubaneshwar (200kms)

After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a morning boat safari. Then, drive to Bhubaneshwar, with a visit to Ratnagiri, Udaigiri, and Lalitgiri, renowned Buddhist excavation sites. On arrival in Bhubaneshwar, check in at your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Bhubaneshwar - Puri (75kms)

After breakfast, visit the Parasurameshwar, Mukteshwar, Rajarani, and Lingaraj temples (please note that only Hindus can enter the temple sanctum). Drive to Puri, stopping en route to explore Khandgiri and Udayagiri Jain caves and the Dhauli Rock Edicts. Upon arrival in Puri, check in at your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8: Puri

Breakfast at the hotel is followed by a visit to the Konark Sun Temple, renowned for its architectural brilliance. Explore Pipili, known for its colorful applique work, and Raghurajpur, an artisan village. Visit the Ramchandi Temple and the scenic Chandrabhaga Beach. Pay your respects at the Lord Jagannath Temple (note that only Hindus can enter the temple sanctum). Overnight at the hotel.

Day 9: Puri

After breakfast, embark on an excursion to Chilika Lake, the largest wintering ground for migratory birds in the Indian subcontinent. Enjoy a boat ride on the lake and then return to Puri. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10: Puri - Bhubaneswar (65kms)

Breakfast at the hotel. Later, transfer to Bhubaneswar airport to board your flight for your onward destination, marking the end of this memorable journey through Odisha's cultural and natural treasures.
