Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Delhi

Arrival at Delhi airport, transfer to hotel (check-in time 12 pm). Free time to relax. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Delhi

After breakfast, full-day city tour of Delhi including Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, Raj Gath, Humayun Tomb, Qutab Minar, Lotus Temple, and a drive past President House, Parliament, and India Gate. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Delhi - Agra (210km)

Drive to Agra and check in at the hotel. Visit the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and Itmad-ud-Daula Tomb. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Agra - Gwalior - Orchha (220kms)

Drive to Orchha via Gwalior Fort. Check in at the hotel in Orchha and visit the Orchha Fort complex. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Orchha - Khajuraho (180kms)

Drive to Khajuraho and check in at the hotel. Visit the Khajuraho temples and enjoy an evening light and sound show. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Khajuraho - Varanasi (Flight)

Transfer to the airport for a flight to Varanasi. Check in at the hotel and attend the Holy Ganga Aarti in the evening. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Varanasi

Early morning boat ride and Ghat visit. Visit Banaras Hindu University, Bharat Mata Temple, Tulsi Manas Temple, Sarnath Temple complex, and if time permits, Ram Nagar Fort & Museum. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8: Varanasi - Bodhgaya (255kms)

Drive to Bodhgaya and check in at the hotel. Visit Mahabodhi Temple complex, Bodhi Tree, and other monasteries. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 9: Bodhgaya - Patna (170kms)/ Kolkata (flight)

Drive to Patna via visiting Rajgir and Nalanda. Explore the historical sites in Rajgir and Nalanda. Overnight in Patna or Kolkata (flight).

Day 10: Kolkata

Check in at the hotel and enjoy a full-day city tour of Kolkata, including Fort William, Victoria Memorial, Netaji Bhawan, Howrah Bridge, Dakshineswar Kali Temple, and other landmarks. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 11: Kolkata - Bhubaneshwar (Flight)

Transfer to the airport for a flight to Bhubaneswar. Check in at the hotel and later visit Parasurameshwar, Mukteshwar, Rajarani, Lingaraj temple, Khandagiri, Udaygiri caves, and Dhauli Rock Edicts. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 12: Bhubaneshwar - Puri (60kms)

Drive to Puri via Konark Sun Temple, Pipili, and Raghurajpur. Visit Ramchandi temple, Chandrabhaga beach, and Lord Jagannath temple. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 13: Puri - Chilika Lake (55kms one way)

Excursion to Chilika Lake for a boat ride. Return to Puri and overnight at the hotel.

Day 14: Puri - Bhubaneshwar/ Chennai (flight)

Transfer to Bhubaneshwar airport for a flight to Chennai. Check in at the hotel and enjoy a city tour. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 15: Chennai - Pondicherry (160kms)

Drive to Pondicherry via Kanchipuram and Mahabalipuram. Explore the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Mahabalipuram. Check in at the hotel in Pondicherry. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 16: Pondicherry

Visit Auroville, Pondicherry Museum, and explore the French Quarters. Relax on the beach. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 17: Pondicherry - Thanjore (220kms)

Drive to Alleppey and board a houseboat for a backwater cruise. Overnight on the houseboat.

Day 24: Alleppey - Cochin (60kms)

Disembark from the houseboat and drive to Cochin. Enjoy a city tour and watch a Kathakali Dance show in the evening. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 25: Cochin - Departure

Transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
