Day 1: Bhuj
Upon your arrival at Bhuj airport, our team will assist you and transfer you to your hotel. After settling in, embark on a city tour to explore Bhuj's cultural treasures. Visit the Aaina Mahal Palace, an exquisite example of Kutchi architecture; the Prag Mahal, a grand palace known for its intricate craftsmanship; the Shri Swaminarayan Temple, a magnificent Hindu temple; and the Ramkund stepwell, a historic water storage marvel. In the evening, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Bhuj - Narayan Sarovar Sanctuary - Hodka (125kms)
After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we will pick you up and set out for Narayan Sarovar Sanctuary. This sanctuary is home to the endangered chinkara, with a significant population residing in its vast expanses. You'll also have the chance to spot other wildlife species, including caracal, desert foxes, Indian wolf, spotted deer, wild boar, and honey badger. Bird enthusiasts will be delighted by the sanctuary's diverse avian population, with over 184 bird species, including all three bustard species, Black Partridge, and various birds of prey.
Next, visit the ancient Koteshwar Shiv temple, situated near a marsh. After this enriching wildlife experience, proceed to Hodka, where you'll check in at a comfortable hotel. Enjoy lunch, dinner, and an overnight stay at the resort.
Day 3: Hodka - White Rann of Kutch
Begin your day with an early morning excursion to the White Rann of Kutch, where you'll witness the breathtaking sunrise over the salt marsh in the Thar Desert. After this mesmerizing spectacle, explore Dhordo village, inhabited by the Mutwa Muslim Community. Continue your cultural journey with a visit to a Pathan community hamlet renowned for its embroidery skills. Then, head to Khavda to observe the pottery-making craft and interact with the Samma tribe.
In the evening, make your way to Kala Dungar to enjoy the magnificent sunset views. Return to your resort for a comfortable night's stay, with lunch and dinner provided.
Day 4: Hodka - Bhuj (65kms)
Following breakfast at the hotel, embark on a drive to Bhuj. En route, visit Nirona Village, famous for its Rogan art, a traditional cloth-painting technique. Explore the vibrant artistry of this unique community.
Your journey concludes as you are dropped off at Bhuj airport to catch your onward flight. Depart with cherished memories of the rich culture, wildlife, and natural beauty of Kutch.
