Bhubaneshwar to Kolkata Nature and Culture Private Tour will begin with pick up from Bhubaneshwar airport. Explore the Hindu collection of grand temples in Bhubaneshwar and Caves of Khandagiri & Udaigiri. Then proceed to Bhitarakanika via visiting Ratnagiri, Udaigiri & Lalitgiri excavated Buddhist Sites. Enjoy boat safari in Mangroves Forest, a nestling ground for estuarine crocodile and the Olive Ridley turtles. Next proceed to Similipal National Park endowed with high peaks and rocky cliffs harboring Tiger, Leopard, Sloth bear, Elephant, Gaur and other important major faunal species. Then drive to Kolkata, a colonial city with many historical monuments of Raj Era.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Bhubaneswar

On arrival assistance & transfer to hotel. Later city tour, visit Parasurameshwar, Mukteshwar, Rajarani & Lingaraj temple (Only Hindu can enter sanctum). Also visit Khandagiri, Udaygiri caves & Dhauli Rock Edicts. O/n at hotel.

Day 2: Bhubaneswar - Bhitarakanika National Park (200kms)

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Bhitarakanika via visiting Ratnagiri, Udaigiri & Lalitgiri excavated Buddhist Sites filled with many Stupas and ancient monastery cut out from rock. Arrive Bhitarakanika check in at Jungle Cottage/ Tent. Dinner & Lunch, dinner & o/n at Jungle Cottage/ Tent.

Day 3: Bhitarakanika National Park - Similipal Tiger Reserve (200kms)

Breakfast at hotel. Explore the land of crocodiles in their own Mangrove habitat. Boat safari in Mangrove forest, enjoy the serpentine creeks, watch out for birds, particularly different varieties of Kingfisher. Keep looking for estuarine crocodiles basking in the sun. Also visit Bagagahan Bird Sanctuary, climb to watch tower, look for Pelican & different varieties of Storks. Visit Crocodile museum at Dangamal.
Later drive to Similipal National Park a tiger reserve and check in at Jungle Cottage/ Tent. Lunch, dinner & o/n at Jungle Cottage/ Tent.

Day 4: Similipal Tiger Reserve

Breakfast at hotel. Jeep safari in Similipal Tiger Reserve. It harbours Tiger, Leopard, Sloth bear, Elephant, Gaur and other important major faunal species. Similipal is the only home for the unique melanistic tiger in the world. Lunch, dinner & o/n at Jungle Cottage/ Tent.

Day 5: Similipal Tiger Reserve - Bhubaneshwar (200kms)

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Kolkata, check in at hotel. Rest time free and easy to relax.O/n at hotel.

Day 6: Kolkata

Breakfast at hotel. Full day city tour of Kolkata visiting Fort William, Victoria Memorial, Netaji Bhawan, Howrah Bridge, Dakshineswar Kali Temple & other landmark monuments of the city. O/n at hotel.

Day 7: Kolkata - Departure (flight)

Breakfast at hotel. As per flight schedule transfer to airport to board flight for onward destination.
