Itinerary

Day 1: Tezpur - Bomdila (154kms)

Upon your arrival at Tezpur airport, you'll be greeted by our driver and provided with assistance. From there, you will embark on a scenic drive to Bomdila. Check in at the guesthouse and enjoy some leisure time to unwind. Dinner and overnight stay at the resort.

Day 2: Bomdila - Tawang (180kms)

Start your day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel. Begin your sightseeing tour in Bomdila by visiting the Bomdila Monastery, an exquisite representation of Mahayana Buddhism. Next, head to Bomdila View Point, where you'll witness the breathtaking sight of clouds touching the earth, with the majestic Himalayas surrounding the Kemeng Valley. Afterward, embark on a picturesque drive to Tawang and check in at your hotel. Lunch, dinner, and overnight stay at the resort.

Day 3: Tawang

Following breakfast, your Tawang exploration begins. Visit the remarkable Tawang Monastery, India's largest and the world's second-largest monastery, after the Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet. Continue to Urgelling Gompa, believed to be the birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama. Pay your respects at the Tawang War Memorial, a massive 40-foot-high structure commemorating Indian soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice during the Indo-Sino war. Lunch, dinner, and overnight stay at the resort.

Day 4: Tawang - Dirang (140kms)

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before departing for Dirang. En route, visit Jaswant Garh War Memorial and experience the beauty of Sella Lake at Sella Pass. Upon reaching Dirang, check in at the hotel. Later, explore Dirang Dzong, a 500-year-old fort offering excellent views of Dirang Valley and the surrounding area. Don't miss the chance to visit a Hot Water Spring. Lunch, dinner, and overnight stay at the resort.

Day 5: Dirang - Tezpur (190kms)

After breakfast, begin your journey to Tezpur, a historic town renowned for its ancient temples and ruins. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and then visit Agnigarh, a legendary fortress believed to be surrounded by fire. Explore Bamuni Hills, home to sculptures dating back to the 9th century. Visit Da-Parbatia, which features doorframes from 600 AD with significant cultural and historical value. Lunch, dinner, and overnight stay at the resort.

Day 6: Tezpur - Departure

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before transferring to the airport according to your flight schedule for your onward journey.
