Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Bhopal

Arrival at Bhopal airport and transfer to your hotel. City tour of Bhopal, including visits to historic mosques Jama Masjid, Moti Masjid, and Taj ul Masjid, as well as the arts center in Bharat Bhawan. Enjoy an evening boat ride on Upper Lake. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Bhopal

After breakfast, embark on an excursion to Bhimbetka rock shelters, an archaeological site dating back to the Paleolithic age, inhabited by homo erectus over 100,000 years ago. Visit Bhojpur Shiva Temple before returning to Bhopal. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Bhopal

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, then set out on an excursion to visit Sanchi Buddhist stupas, monasteries, temples, and pillars dating from the 3rd century BC to the 12th century AD. Explore the Udayagiri Caves before returning to Bhopal. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Bhopal - Agra (Satabdi Train 1515/ 2111hrs)

After breakfast, visit Bhoj Wetland, a diverse ecosystem home to various flora and fauna, including many waterbirds. Later, transfer to the railway station to board the train to Agra. Upon arrival in Agra, check in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Agra - Delhi (210kms)

Witness the sunrise at the stunning Taj Mahal, an ivory-white marble mausoleum built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. After breakfast, visit Agra Fort and Itmad-ud-Daula Tomb. Later, drive to Delhi and check in at the hotel. Overnight in Delhi.

Day 6: Delhi

After breakfast, explore Delhi's historical landmarks, including the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, Raj Ghat, Humayun Tomb, Qutab Minar, and Lotus Temple. Enjoy a drive past iconic structures like the President's House, Parliament, and India Gate. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Delhi - Departure

After breakfast, transfer to the airport according to your flight schedule for your onward journey.
